1979-2008-? I opened in 1979.I started with duplicates from my private record collection. Several times over the years I put up my personal collection for sale.I expanded to flea markets, set up at record shows, bought and sold at yard sales(in the meantime learning and expanding my selection). I've been buying, selling and trading and continue to do this today, My store brings me a continuous supply of non stop product. I buy complete collections, also purchase by the piece, and occasionally have done consignments(I no longer do this).I cater to most musical formats and most anything music related. I love the Beatles and the 60's. I especially love vinyl records, picture sleeves, colored vinyl, promo's, picture discs and anything out of the ordinary.I also specialize in music from 50's to current(mainly vinyl, but have a large selection of cassettes, cassete singles, cd singles, with a huge selection of 12" records for the DJ, collector and the bargain hunter. I'm closing my music store (Luke's record Exchange-May 2008)and will be expanding to more online sales. If you have a want list please send it.If you live near my store its well worth the trip.I have 2 floors to shop; the lower level is all records, with some 8-tracks,(7"& 12" records) and street level has thousands of Cd's, videos, cassettes, tens of thousands of 12" records(lots of rap,hip-hop, old school, funk, disco, Rock N Roll, metal, C&W, limited editions and much more.

I have been purchasing collections since the middle 70's.I sell t-shirts, patches, stickers, jewelry, poster, dvd's, videos, 8-tracks, some 78's(not many of these). I started out as a Rock store, then quickly included heavy metal, then disco. In the last 10 years Rap,hip-hop, house, techno and dance music had exploded so haven't my purchases. I have expanded my C&W, Jazz, and offer some blues(which is hard to come by). I have especially catered to the vinyl market and still do. I have the largest selection around (in south eastern New england). I also carry a large selection of CD's,cassettes, videos, & laser Disc. I specialize in all the older formats that the other store gave up on as well as the titles they quit on or that have become out of print or just hard to find.I also cater to the disc jockey community. And have for at least the last 15 years and have tried to carry just about anything they were and are looking for, in all formats. I also carry audio and Disc Jockey equipment at times.April is my final month loaded with sales.Expect lots more inventory to be listed on Ebay soon and my web site, as I prepare to Close Luke's record Exchange, from Pawtucket, RI on May 5th, 2008. If after several tries an item doesn't sell then I may sell at flea market , record show or even yard sale. This may be the last time I will enter that item on Ebay, ever.If you see an item for sale and you have a question or want to make an offer, then send me an email. My shipping fees include shipping and handling charges, shipping prices always posted(for combined shipping please email), please email with any questions before bidding. The prices I've listed for shipping includes shipping and handeling charge. I will be liquidating my music store on Ebay, my web-site, yard sales, plans of setting up at a flea market , and I may set up at a record convention occasionaly. Looks like a may open occaisonally during summer, to email customers only, and each time with a sale.Is a fall grand re-opening sale possible, stay tuner~!
